few weeks ago, we brought you footage of
multi-talented Ron in the recording studio belting
out the old Sinatra classic “That’s Life”.
Judging by the distinct lack of e-mailed
complaints we received about the clip, it is
safe to say that the general public was bowled
over by the sheer entertainment value of this
musical gem.
Now
the cavalcade of entertainment continues. After
all, Ron is nothing if not an all-around showbiz
phenomenon. Not only does the great man sing –
he also acts. We have managed to secure
ultra-rare footage of Ron on an early episode of
Dream Team on Sky One, on which Ron
played himself in the guise of Harchester
United manager.
Here,
Ron shows the world how he deals with an uppity
chairman. Namely, he paralyses him with a steely
stare and then promptly resigns.
His
parting shot to the rabid press as he takes his
final leave of the Dragons’ Lair? In the
finest garbled Spanish: “Hesta luego.”
