| Trevor's
love for Man
United is
surpassed only by
his love for
fry-ups - hence
his ranking as
outsider. His
level of
experience and
sporting nous is
limited, to say
the least. Then
again, Rodders'
level of sporting
knowledge isn't
much to write home
about either.
Rodney's as keen
on his nightly
prawn cocktail and
chips with a pint
of bitter as
Trevor is of his
plate of crubeens
and pint of
Murphy's. The
decisive factor in
this bout is
likely to be sheer
killer instinct.
You have to doubt
Trevor's ability
to finish Marsh
off if he gets the
chance. There's a
spark of human
compassion - a
fatal attribute in
the Wars - hidden
deep inside the
Welch bulk. Marsh,
on the other hand,
won't bat an
eyelid if he gets
Trevor pinned
against the wall
of the Pit. Down
will come the
trademark Marsh
leather cosh on
the Welch noggin,
sending the
manchild from Cork
spinning into
oblivion |

More
likely to be able to tell
you the winners of the
1990 Cork Shipping League
Division 1 than the 1990
World Cup victors.
However, dearth of
commentating credibility
aside, it's lack of
physical fitness that's
the main worry here, so he
has to be a rank outsider.
Verdict.
Nice guy Trevor's a Wars novice.
Doesn't stand a snowball's.

John Says
His
gaffe in predicting
Bradford's downfall last
year is merely the tip of
the iceberg for this
joker. Deeply suspect in
oh so many ways. And yet,
that streak of crafty
ruthlessness could get him
a long way.
Verdict.
Should breeze past Trevor but
unlikely to trouble the big boys.
